An Arkansas dad of three, finding the funny in everyday family chaos and keeping faith at the center of it all.

Club 52 Dads

All 52 Arkansas state parks — with our kids, and with each other. One park at a time, together.

What is Club 52?

Club 52 is Arkansas State Parks’ free passport program. Pick up a passport, visit a park, get it stamped — and work your way through all 52 Arkansas state parks. There’s no cost and no deadline. It’s just a really good excuse to get outside with your kids.

We’re doing it the way it ought to be done: as a crew of dads, bringing our kids along and checking parks off together.

The milestone ladder

5 parksClub 52 sticker — the first one lands fast.
25 parksCollector cards — halfway there, crew still growing.
52 parksThe shirt. Every park in Arkansas, done together.

How the dad group works

Dads at the Park is the meetup side of Club 52 Dads:

  • Saturday mornings at a park from the Club 52 list — every meetup is also a park check-off.
  • Kids play, dads talk, coffee in hand. That’s the whole agenda.
  • No sign-up sheet, no fees, no pressure. Dads show up because other dads show up.

Real community first — the photos and videos are just what happens when a bunch of dads and kids have a good morning outside.

First parks on deck

Woolly HollowGreenbrier — lake, trails, and an easy first stamp.
Pinnacle MountainLittle Rock — the climb every Arkansas kid should do.
Petit JeanMorrilton — Cedar Falls and the best views in the state.

Join the crew

We’re building a tracker where every dad can save the parks he’s completed and see the crew’s progress — it’s not ready yet. Until then, getting in is simple: send Chris an email and you’re on the list for the first meetups.
